on a journey

so excited to be on this journey. trying to secure a space. it is wonderful, not to small, not too overwhelming, just right. I hope to be able to have a comfortable set-up for 16 students. I think a perfect size class.

I will be putting together a class portfolio in the next few weeks.

I will offer a fun apron class, Altered canvas, funky cupcakes (look like a lot of work but simple), glass etching, mini books, and photo transfers.

WOW it's happening

I have found a studio location that I am in love with and just need to iron out the details.

Finishing up the final touches on a September 28th-30th Scrapbooking Weekend. I will be collecting deposits shortly. It's been a while, I'll say. Well here goes, back by popular request a crop weekend at the Four Points Sheraton.

Due to weekend scheduling conflicts Michelle and I cannot go to Claire for the spring retreat so we set up a weekend crop in town!

As usual goodies, lots of prizes, and tons of fun. An evening snack will be provided FRI&SAT night, and Deluxe Continental Breakfast/Brunch will be provided SAT&SUN.

starting to get my mojo back

hello everyone,

well I am starting to get my creative mojo back after knee surgery and recovery set backs....the creative flow.....its back.

I have been taking care of a bunch of trim/decorating/finishing touches around the house.

It started with some constant asking from my daughter to pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase paint an Eiffel Tower on the wall in her room. Mission accomplished.

Then while out running errands we stopped into Hobby Lobby and picked up some fun monograms and a sweet picture frame. I am going to hang the "J" and "E" hooks in the kids bathrooms to hang their towels on. Then I bought a small black "H" and "P"for a shelf in my bathroom. I also got a sweet small black ornate picture frame that matches the H&P for my bathroom too.

Tommorrow calls for storms, so hopefully a crafting day :)

knees....

Hello Everyone,

ok so I am bummed that I am still in mega recovery mode from my bilateral knee surgery. The left knee is almost free of pain but the right knee which I have nick named Puff Daddy is still giving me all sorts of pain. I am hoping by the weekend I will feel a little crafty and get some sewing therapy in.

I have some summer dresses in the back of my head, a cute idea for a reversible little purse, a crayon roll up, etc....

Also those of you who were asking about the classes I taught at mega meet I will be teaching them again at Scrappy Chic in Livonia Mi.
